Cookbook

It is said that food tastes better when shared with friends. By asking foreign colleagues for their favourite recipes, we wanted to get to know their habits, tastes and favourite flavours. It was important to us that the dishes were chosen by people with whom we have frequent contact. We believe that this book will strengthen our cooperation and give it additional meaning. We will think of Branka when we want to make a Croatian cheese pie, and of Ilyiana’s Bulgarian recipe when we want to feel like we are on holiday. When summer is over, it will be time for Kataryna’s Ukrainian dish of apples and nuts. In winter, Csillo’s Norwegian fårikål and Claudia’s Maltese kusksu soup are ideal for the broad bean season. The food is just an excuse to think warmly of the person, to make a phone call, to find out how they are doing, to get an update on the situation in their country. We hope that the recipes we have collected during the pandemic will not only broaden your culinary repertoire, but also increase your curiosity about the world and your contacts.
