  • A webinar on bilateral cooperation in the Active Citizens’ Fund – National Programme was held on 28 February at 14.00. 

The experts at the webinar, with practical experience in working on bilateral projects, were:

  • Professor Marta Bivand Erdal – director of research and immigration studies professor at the Oslo Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO)
    • Leiv Igor Devold – a Polish-Norwegian film director, graduate of the Łódź Film School
    • Donata Honkowicz-Bukowska – Polish language teacher, adviser on education and multicultural issues in primary schools in Kópavogur, Iceland
    • Alina Kula – co-founder and member of the Management Board of the Foundation for Positive Change. During the last Citizens for Democracy programme, she worked on a project with an Icelandic organisation.

The working language for the webinar was Polish

  • A webinar on the subject of the Active Citizens’ Fund – National Programme was held on 12 February.

Webinar agenda:

  1. Information on organisational matters concerning the Active Citizens’ Fund – National Programme (dates, amounts, procedures)
  2. Information on thematic areas for which funding is available
  3. Information about additional amounts of grants for capacity building and/or cooperation with Donor State organisations.

2. Schedule for information briefings in Poland in 2020

At the briefings, the organisers talked about the main precepts of the Programme and the first call for projects, and the challenges related to areas for which funding was provided. They  presented inspirational examples of activities and answer questions. The briefing also included a workshop. Representatives of social organisations were able to work on developing their own ideas for projects.
