Closing event of the Active Citizens Fund – National programme – report

The evening’s programme included the premiere of the film ‘Little big things’, directed by Julia Pelka and Paulina Skibińska, in which we presented the activities and changes made possible by the programme’s support through the example of seven projects and initiatives, and also a discussion with representatives of organisations implementing projects supported by the Programme about what has happened over the past five years and the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.

The event was attended by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway, Øystein Bø, a representative of the Icelandic Embassy, Jan Hernik, Hjörtur Sverrisson from the Financial Mechanism Office in Brussels, and representatives of civil society organisations implementing projects and initiatives within the programme.

The speech of Ingrid Schulerud, representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway, responsible for Norwegian funds, was read out by Aleksandra Wacko. Speeches were also made by representatives of the consortium implementing the programme: Ewa Kulik-Bielińska from the Batory Foundation, Jakub Wygnański from the Stocznia Foundation and Lidia Kuczmierowska from the Academy of Civil Organisations Foundation.
